Peace Neighborhood Center provides wraparound services to children, youth and families throughout Washtenaw County. What started as an idea in 2008, during my MSW internship at Peace Neighborhood Center, has evolved into a vision focused on helping youth expand their options in life through exposure to new experiences.
In 2026, as the Director of Family Enrichment & Wellness programs and the Primary Field Instructor at Peace Neighborhood Center, I have the privilege to provide leadership, counseling, support and education to parents, youth, community members and future social workers.
Our Family Enrichment Program supports our families to take a proactive approach to education, health and well-being, and community involvement. Our Wellness Program focuses on our four pillars: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. To implement the vision we provide counseling, support groups, and activities such as yoga and walking groups. I am rooted in peace, in the work I have been able to do over the years.
