The Curtis Center's Mission is to eliminate mental health and health care access disparities with the aim of helping underserved populations live longer, healthier, and more productive lives.
The Curtis Center collaborates with faculty, university-community partners and students to create social change through research and evaluation excellence.
The Center provides:
- Program Evaluation Services
Established in September 2011, the Program Evaluation Group at the University of Michigan School of Social Work engages the community to provide professional evaluation services while matching students’ educational goals with projects.
- Postdoctoral Training
The program emphasizes the training and development of social work academicians who can assume leadership roles in research, evaluation, teaching, and service. Selected fellows partner with a team of experienced faculty mentors with strong publication and external funding experience.
