Students with three years or more of human service experience may apply for the MicroMasters MSW program. Students who meet the MicroMasters MSW program criteria will be able to complete the Master of Social Work degree in three to six terms of on-campus enrollment.
Note: the MicroMasters Certificate alone is a non-credit bearing credential

Each MicroMasters student will have an individual course planning appointment to plan the completion of required credits. MicroMasters students can complete the MSW degree in three semesters as a full-time student or over six semesters as a part-time student. Note that field begins in the first fall term.

There is no financial aid available for the online MicroMasters certificate courses. If accepted into the MicroMasters MSW program at the University of Michigan, students may apply for grants, scholarships, Direct Loans, GradPlus Loans, and college work study.
