I come from an interfaith family and I know how learning from two distinct cultures benefitted me. I want to work to make the broader Jewish community more inclusive to those with marginalized identities. But we can’t just say that and hope it happens. We have to actively engage with these issues.
It was dumb luck that I discovered JCLP, which combines my passion for social work and the Jewish people. This opportunity is so unique and is preparing me to make the change in the world that I want to make.
Shera Spar Dubitsky Scholarship Fund
I am so thankful for the Dubitsky scholarship. It will help fund my summer field placement in Chicago. I am very grateful there are people out there committed to funding the next generation of leaders. It makes you feel more confident in your studies and your future career.
