Mary Eldredge, LMSW, joined the Office of Field Education in 2015. Eldredge has professional experience at the interpersonal and macro levels in healthcare, child welfare, mental health and juvenile justice. Mary is an experienced clinician, policy writer, program developer and grant author. She has been employed in governmental, community-based, hospital, residential, outpatient and in-home capacities, and she was the co-developer of a quality assurance program endorsed by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Program of the U.S. Department of Justice. In this position, she was successful in obtaining grant funding to transition OB care from an individual to a group modality in order to enhance services for patients with elevated psycho-social needs. Eldredge has served on the NASW-Michigan Chapter Ethics Committee since 2016 and has been a member of the leadership team since 2017, providing consultation and training to social workers across the state. She has provided field supervision for both BSW and MSW students from a variety of universities for many years as well as private clinical supervision. She has been a master social worker since 2003.
