Lynn Wang, M.D. is a female sexual medicine specialist for the Main Line Health System. She is a board certified gynecologist and AASECT certified sexuality counselor and educator.
Dr. Wang earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. She completed her OBGYN residency training at Lankenau Hospital, and has been a practicing gynecologist since 2002. Dr. Wang completed postgraduate training at the University of Michigan Program for Sexual Health, and also completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).
Her practice, at Main Line Gynecologic Oncology, is limited to the evaluation and treatment of female sexual health issues, with a focus on sexual issues related to pain, menopause and cancer. Dr. Wang’s most recent projects have been the integration of sexuality counseling into her healthcare system’s oncology services, and creation of a female sexual medicine rotation for OBGYN residents.
In addition, she teaches for the University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Certificate
Program, which is a postgraduate training program for healthcare and mental health
providers. Dr. Wang currently serves as a the chair for AASECT’s Personnel Committee, and is an active member of the Professional Advisory Board for breastcancer.org.
Her practice is primarily at Lankenau Medical Center (Wynnewood, PA), with an additional site at Paoli Hospital.
