Global Independent Study Info Session
September 25, 2019 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
This session is intended for incoming MSW students interested in Global Independent Study; a student-initiated opportunity that allows students to travel abroad. When abroad, students engage with a topic of their choosing while working with a faculty instructor. Students from all practice methods, areas and curriculum tracks are eligible to apply and will receive 1-6 elective credits.
We will have a panel of returned global independent study students share about what they did this past summer, where they went, and their overall experience. An overview of the application process will also be provided. Then we will open it up for questions from interested students. Click here for more information about Global Independent Study.
