What's Your Story? Eportfolio Introduction Session

What is an eportfolio? Have you been interested in developing an eportfolio but would like more support with this effort? This session will provide an overview of eportfolios, integrative learning, and how to get started. Several online platforms will be explored. Michelle Woods, Director of Career Services, presenter.

Global Independent Study Info Session
September 26, 2018 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
This session is intended for incoming MSW students interested in Global Independent Study; a student-initiated opportunity that allows students to travel abroad. When abroad, students engage with a topic of their choosing while working with a faculty instructor. Students from all practice methods, areas and curriculum tracks are eligible to apply and will receive 1-6 elective credits.
We will have a panel of returned global independent study students share about what they did this past summer, where they went, and their overall experience. An overview of the application process will also be provided. Then we will open it up for questions from interested students. Click here for more information about Global Independent Study.

JCLP Sukkot Open House
September 26, 2018 - 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Please join students, faculty, and staff of the Jewish Communal Leadership Program in the School of Social Work's courtyard sukkah for a Sukkot harvest celebration. We will be engaging with a Jewish text to help us reflect on our personal resiliency as well as our intentions for the new year, planting potted herbs to take home and brighten our spaces, and shaking the lulav and etrog (a traditional Sukkot ritual).
Wednesday, September 26th
5:30-7:30 PM
All are welcome- no knowledge/prerequisite of Judaism/Hebrew required.
Seasonal hors d'oeuvre provided, as well as potting materials.
