  1. Faculty Teaching Workshop

    April 7, 2017 - 9:00am to 2:00pm

    Please join the Center for Research on Teaching and Learning (CRLT), the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion office, and the Dean's TBLG Matters initiative for a off-campus teaching workshop at the Sheraton Hotel in Ann Arbor. 

    The focus of the sessions will be on enhancing teaching, with a special focus on inclusive teaching approaches in the classroom. 

    Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.

  2. UMich200 Spring Festival: Tree Planting Ceremony

    April 7, 2017 - 11:30am to 12:00pm

    An elm sapling will be added to Central Campus to mark the bicentennial and continue the legacy of plantings started in the 1850s that gave the Diag its physical character. The ceremony, part of the UMich200 Spring Festival, will be on the northwest corner of the Diag, south of the Kraus Building greenhouse.

  3. UMich200 Spring Festival: Carillon Concert

    April 7, 2017 - 12:00pm to 12:30pm

    A midday performance will showcase the 55 bells of historic Baird Carillon as part of the UMich200 Spring Festival.

  4. UMich200 Spring Festival: Community of Cultures Festival

    April 7, 2017 - 3:00pm to 6:00pm

    A celebration of U-M's diversity and an intersection of culture, art, and social advocacy through more than 25 cultural student organizations at Pierpont Commons, the Duderstadt Center, and The Grove. Activities will engage the five senses and include a special culminating unity moment. Student organizations include La Salud, Maize Mirchi, Assisting Latin@s to Maximize Achievement, Michigan Refugee Assistance Program, Students of Color in Public Policy and more.

  5. Poverty Solutions Engagement Series: Making Housing More Affordable

    April 7, 2017 - 3:30pm to 6:30pm

    Making Housing More Affordable is the first in the Poverty Solutions Engagement Series, where we will tackle a poverty-related topic and connect faculty, students and communities to explore ideas, strategies and potential solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time.

    After a keynote speaker, participants will have an opportunity to attend breakout sessions and contribute ideas to real world challenges on affordable housing.
