  1. CAPS Field Placement Meet and Greet CAPS Field Placement Meet and Greet

    January 18, 2017 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

    An informal lunch with CAPS staff for 20 month students in Interpersonal Practice/Mental Health and Community Organization.

    Interested in college student mental health or social work in higher education? Come learn more about our two MSW internship programs: CAPS internships in interpersonal practice and community organization. Make sure to stop by to ask questions and enjoy some free food!

  2. Placement Verification Due

    January 18, 2017 - 5:00pm

    Field Placement Verification form due to the Office of Field Instruction. 

    The Field Placement Verification form is not complete until the students submits it AND the field instructor approves it.

  3. Theory and Practice of Infant Mental Health

    January 18, 2017 - 5:00pm to 8:00pm

    This introductory course will examine the principles of Infant Mental Health intervention with families of infants and young children. Using attachment theory as a foundation, we will examine best practices in supporting early developing relationships between infants and young children and their caregivers. Special attention will be given to understanding the processes through which practitioners can promote infant well-being and expand parenting capacity to nurture and protect their children.
