  1. Reflecting Back on Their MSW Experience and Looking Towards Community Change Employment

    May 24, 2021 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

The Community Change Pathway Team and the SSW's Career Services are proud to be co-hosting "Reflecting Back on Their MSW Experience and Looking To Community Change Employment". This event focuses on entering the workforce as a community change/macro social work practitioner upon graduation. Four MSW alumni from the School of Social Work who graduated within the Community Organization and/or Communities and Social Systems Pathways will be sharing their experiences as young community organizing/macro social work practitioners. All of the panelists are within five years of MSW graduation.

    The panelists are:

    Anne Marie Elmayan

    Alison Brokke

    Jessica Ayoub

    Stuart Inahauzo

Though this event focuses on community change & macro social work, all SSW students are welcome to attend. Community organizing is a key element of our social work practice. This event can be utilized to support a Field Education Agreement competency and one hour of field education, if approved by your field supervisor prior.

Please RSVP here by Friday, May 21
