What Does Social Work Look Like?

SSWB East end of McGregor

SSW commissioned a mural from a team of students led by Johanna Ancheta. The collaborative, interactive piece asks the audience, 'What Does Social Work Look Like?' Themes represented in this artwork include the idea of competency and how it interacts with reflection and introspection; the difference between knowing the material and integrating practices; and what it means to be disenfranchised within the allegedly privileged space of higher education.

All members of the community are welcome to contribute to the mural by attaching a flower after writing on it one way they can leave the world a little better than they found it. The materials and the mural can be found in the east end of McGregor (the former International Institute lobby).
