What is a MOOC?
MOOC is a massive open online course. The U-M School of Social Work has a MOOC about social work and our school to help you get ready for entering the SSW this fall.
Social Work Practice: Meeting Challenges of a New Era
Incoming MSW students are expected to complete this online course. We ask that you take time to complete the MOOC prior to Fall SEED New Student Orientation (Aug 28-Aug 31, 2018).
Each module in the MOOC will take from one to two hours to complete. There are 5 modules in the online course.
