Practice, Policy and Research MicroMasters Certificate

A group of SSW faculty and staff have partnered with University of Michigan Academic Innovation and the edX platform to develop Social Work: Practice, Policy and Research MicroMasters certificate.

The MicroMasters is equipping learners from around the world with a framework to understand social work core theories and practices. The social work MicroMasters includes six courses that cover practice, policy, research, diversity, social justice and work with individuals, families, small groups and community organizations.

Beginning with the incoming Fall 2018 MSW class, students with three years or more of human service experience, will be able to apply for the MicroMasters MSW program. Students who meet the MicroMasters MSW program criteria will be able to complete the Master of Social Work degree in 3-4 terms of enrollment. Learn about the MicroMasters MSW program.
