The Under One Roof Project
Benefits & Challenges of Co-Locating Nonprofit Organizations
Various communities have co-located several nonprofit organizations "under one roof" in order to gain greater efficiency through economies of scale and shared infrastructure, and to achieve greater effectiveness through stronger organizational identity, growth, cooperation, and synergy. This project provides the following services to disseminate best practices, as well as "lessons learned" regarding nonprofit co-locations.

In-depth surveys of nonprofit tenants at four co-locating nonprofit sites, focusing on tenant satisfaction, cooperation, and collaboration.
