  1. Study Abroad Info Session for CASC minors

    Join Dr. Larry Gant to learn more about spring study abroad opportuntities in Amsterdam and Berlin. The study abroad trip will look at comparative policies and services to enhance community participation and well-being. Learn more about the program here.

  2. MSW Info Session: Macro Focus, for CASC Preferred Admissions

    October 21, 2014 - 2:00pm to 3:00pm

    Come and join us for this information session on macro level  programs. The focus of this session is on the Jewish Communal Leadership Program, the Global Activity Scholarship Program, Community Based Initiatives, and the National Community Scholarship Program. Please note, this event is only open to declared CASC minors who are interested in the preferred admissions program. 

  3. MSW/PhD Prospective Student Webinar

    October 21, 2014 - 3:00pm to 4:00pm

    This session will provide the opportunity to learn more about the University of Michigan School of Social Work MSW and PhD Programs. Topics covered will include: MSW Curriculum, Dual Degree Programs, Application Process, Financial Aid, and more. 

    The session will be interactive, allowing participants to ask any questions that they have.

  4. Wikipedia Edit-a-thon for Social Justice

    October 21, 2014 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm

    In celebration of Open Access Week, October 20 - 26, 2014, the University Library will be hosting an Edit-a-thon to improve Wikipedia content on topics related to social justice. Update current content in Wikipedia or help to create new articles related to this broad topic. Wikipedia editing beginners are welcome along with those who have experience editing Wikipedia content. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. 

    Registration is recommended for this event. 

    To provide more time to create content please create your own Wikipedia account prior to this event. Information on creating an account and introductory tutorials are available on the Wikipedia at the University of Michigan guide

  5. Empowering Survivors of Human Trafficking and their Communities of Origin

    October 21, 2014 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

    Hear from three practitioners about the work being done to address the causes and results of human trafficking and child exploitation. A Q & A session will follow the presentation. Dinner will be provided.
