  1. Summer New Student Program Session

    August 4, 2014 - 10:15am to 3:00pm

    The School of Social Work offers incoming MSW students the opportunity to attend an on-campus Summer New Student Program session prior to Fall Orientation to learn more about the School and curriculum, and meet other incoming students. Attending students will also have the opportunity to speak with current MSW students and ask questions. Spaces in the New Student Program sessions are limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis. An email will be sent out in early May to all incoming students to let them know when they are eligible to register for a session.

  3. MSW Registration and Course Planning Q&A

    August 7, 2014 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm

    Do you have any questions before you register? This session is designed for fall 2014 incoming MSW students and will be devoted to answering registration and course planning questions sent in by attendees.  This is an off-site, web-based session and may be attended via the Internet.

    Students are also welcome to schedule an individual course planning session (in person or by phone) before their registration date by calling (734) 936-0961.

  4. School of Social Work Alumni Family Picnic

    August 9, 2014 - 12:00pm to 3:00pm

    The School of Social Work Alumni Relations Committee invites you and your family to attend a summer picnic. Enjoy lunch, networking, and fun activities for the whole family!

  6. Curtis Center: Pizza & Pontification

    August 12, 2014 - 1:45pm

    Join the Curtis Center for "Pizza & Pontification" -- a series of discussions, trainings and presentations on the second Friday of the month at 12 pm in the Curtis Center Conference Room--unless otherwise noted.  Pizza and salad lunch starts at 12.  All are welcome!

  7. MSW Prospective Student Session

    August 12, 2014 - 3:00pm to 4:00pm

    Attend this session to learn more about the University of Michigan School of Social Work's MSW Program. Topics covered will include: MSW Curriculum, Dual Degree Programs, Application Process, Financial Aid, and more.
