LGBTQ Foster and Adoptive Parents: Strengthening the Welfare of Children

Recently a judge in Michigan overturned the statewide ban on same sex marriage. This panel will discuss the legal and policy implications of this decision for LGBTQ adoption and foster parents. Featured speakers:

Alumni Day of Service - Detroit
May 10, 2014 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
Join your fellow SSW alumni in a day of service at Earthworks Urban Farm, a project of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen that seeks to build a just, beautiful food system through education, inspiration, and community development. Volunteers can choose to help in one of the gardens or greenhouses, or assist with cleaning up the surrounding neighborhood.
