MSW Statement Feedback Session, for CASC Preferred Admissions
October 23, 2014 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm
This event will give Juniors and Seniors applying to the MSW program a chance to meet with current MSW students who have been trained by SSW to answer questions about the supplementary statement. MSW students will be there for you to bounce ideas off of or get some comments on language or your ideas on which track you are interested in. This event will be a chance for you to meet with students who understand the language of the profession and can help streamline your thoughts around how to approach the essay.
You will have 20 minutes with an MSW student to use how you'd like. Last year, the majority of students came in with ideas or outlines- don't feel pressured to have a complete draft prepared. We do ask that you have looked at the essay questions prior to your appointment so the 20 minutes can be used most effectively toward honing in on your actual questions and ideas.
Please note, this event is only open to declared CASC minors who are interested in the preferred admissions program.
